Dr. Jorge Cabrera was raised in Santiago, Dominican Republic. She received her medical

degree from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra in 2007. She was a

medical resident and chief medical resident at Jacobi Medical Center. She later

completed a Nephrology Fellowship at Yale School of Medicine/Yale-New Haven Hospital

and worked as a clinician in the section of Nephrology for the following two years.

Her main focus is on patients with chronic kidney disease. She enjoys spending time

with her husband and her son. She also enjoys spending time outdoors with her

dog and playing the piano.
